- basmati rice-3cups
- yogurt-2tsp

- coconut milk
- green chilli-1
To Season:
- Cinnamon-1
- cloves-2cardomam-2
- bayleaf-1
To Marinate:
- chicken
- chilli powder-1tsp
- corainder powder-1tsp
- turmeric powder-1tsp
- salt-to taste
- yogurt-2tsp
Procedure:
- Marinate chicken with the above items and keep it for atleast 1 hour
- Take an pressure cooker add some ghee and allow the items to season.
- Soak rice for abt an hour.
- Then add the chopped onion,green chilly and tomato.
- Add mint leaves,coriander leaves ,salt and the remaining powders.(1tsp chilli and coriander powder)
- Then add the marinated chicken allow it to fry until the water oozes out from the chicken.
- 1cup rice=11/4(water+coconut milk)
- Add water and coconut milk by the ratio given above.
- allow it to boil.
- Once it boils well add the soaked rice and stir well.
- close the lid and allow one whistle.
- serve hot with raita.
