- Urad dhal-1/4 cup
- coconut-2tsp
- red chilly-3
- tamarind- a pinch
- Hing- a pinch
- salt
- Mustard seeds-1tsp
- curry leaves-3 leaves
- Heat oil in a pan add urad dhal and allow it to fry(it shouldnt become too dark)
- Then add red chilly,tamarind,hing,coconut ,salt with it.
- Allow it to cool for a while.
- Use the blender to grind it.
- Finally season it with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- serve with idli and dosa.
